baby nathan and i are officially sick. but i sound worser than him. *sigh* i hope we get better before we head off to our family mini-getaway.
hmmmmm… makes me wonder, will i get his birth certificate on/before time? i feel like crossing the border to shop and visit the our lady of fatima in lewiston, new york or the lady victory basilica in lackwanna. i wanted to say my grace 
and pray for everything else. i loooove the basilica. it has soooo much history and just by looking at it the story gets into you.
*sigh* i hate getting sick! nathan and i have been coughing–dry cough and running after our noses 
we’ll do our steaming again later.
arrrrgh… am going in circles now, i better stop.

it didnt take me that long to get Luke’s passport but his birth certificate took quite awhile, i think about a month or so…
the cough takes awhile to go, more especially if you’re not taking anything for it… and ofcourse there’s no cough medication for baby Nathan… but i hope you guys are better soon… Just give baby Nathan extra extra fluids, and steam yourselves even 3x/day..
are u using nasal aspirator for baby Nathan’s runny nose? there are “saline drops” that you can buy at shopper’s.. it helps loosen the nasal secretions by instilling a few drops in his nose.. pagkalagay mo ng saline masmadali isuction yung nose niya… ako nga dati, might sound yucky pero i find kasi na nde mashado nagwowork yung nasal aspirator kaya ako na mismo ang sumisipsip ng sipon from his nose, and it relieved Luke most of the time… nakakatakot kasi kung nde nila malabas yung sipon, it might cause harsh coughs or ear infections…
anyways, pagaling kayo…
that’s what i thought too. i guess, crossing the border would have to be set aside for now. hehehe!
i am. kaso very little lang ang nakukuha ko. nakakaawa nga kasi pag gabi umiiyak sya kasi natatakot sya sa snort nya and parejo kaming nagigising sa ubo namin. haaay. am so close on sucking his nose as well. but i just don’t know how to do it. how can you suck the little nose??? LOL! am going to buy that saline drops mamaya. my MIL (mom in law) bought something similar but i prefer saline coz that’s what dr. kupfert told me as well. and pag nalagay ko na yon, i’ll let john do the dirty work

u have a very good excuse not to suction the nose - you’re sick so u dont wanna pass on to baby Nathan more of your virus.. so yeah, let John do the good stuffs! LOL!
you can try this too if nagigising siya sa cough niya, or ikaw… ilang months na ba siya? i think puede na siya ng vicks for babies… put a good amount of vicks on the soles of his feet at night then cover them with socks.. i dont know kung ano rationale non but it has always worked for Luke, nauubo pa rin siya pero maybe once or twice na lang at night… u can do that too to yourself ^_^

yeah, it should be safe… it will indicate naman sa box ng vicks kung anong month puede… im pretty sure that it’s ok to use it for babies more than 3 months old… but pls double check and make sure you get the “vicks for babies” - pink yata yung color ng cover non…

IT WORKED!!!
am amazed!!! but he’s still coughing sigh. pero medyo okay na. but am still amazed how he’s not coughing at night and coughing less throughout the day.
